Call for Abstracts
Abstract Submission Guidelines for Papers/ Posters – OCCUCON 2026
The Scientific Committee of OCCUCON 2026 invites the abstracts for Paper and Poster presentations for consideration and possible inclusion in the scientific program.
1. General Submission Requirements
- All abstracts must be submitted in English through the official conference website.
- Please select your abstract category before submission.
- Abstract length: Maximum 400 words.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12.
- No images, tables, or figures are permitted in the abstract.
2. Submission Notification
- A confirmation email will be sent upon successful submission. Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
3. Abstract Acceptance Notification
- Abstract acceptance decisions will be communicated by email to the submitting author.
- Paper or poster presentation guidelines will be communicated through mail once paper/poster will be accepted by the scientific committee.
- The Scientific Committee reserves the right to edit submissions for grammar, spelling, theme alignment, and presentation type.
- There will be no appeal against the decision of the Scientific Committee, and the committee’s decision shall be final and binding.
4. Authorship Rules
- The first name listed must be the presenting author. You can acknowledge co-author name also. In case of unavailability of author, co-author can present.
- The presenting author must be registered for OCCUCON 2026.
- Only the presenting author will receive the Certificate of Presentation.
5. Originality & Publication Status
- Abstracts must be original and must not have been published or presented at any other meeting prior to OCCUCON 2026.
- Conflicts of interest and funding sources (if any) must be clearly acknowledged.

7. Presentation Rules
A) Oral Presentation
- Time for oral presentation of each Scientific Paper will be restricted to 8 minutes, with additional 2 minutes for Q&As.
- Presentation slot and guidelines will be communicated to the author separately through email once accepted by scientific committee.
B) Poster Presentation
- E-Poster: Posters will be displayed digitally on LED screens at the venue.
- Presentation slot and guidelines will be communicated to the author separately through email once accepted by scientific committee.
Other Rules
- Each delegate can submit maximum 2 abstracts (considering theme should be different).
- Each individual shall present only one (Oral OR Poster).
- The presenter must be an author or co-author (in absence of author) of the work.
- The Committee will evaluate based on:
- Originality and innovation
- Methodology and study design
- Contribution to scientific knowledge, policy, or practice
- Relevance to themes
8. Copyright Rules
By submitting an abstract, the author(s) retain the copyright of their work but grant the organizers a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, and distribute the abstract in conference proceedings, digital platforms, and related materials.
9. Conflict of Interest
By submitting an abstract, the author(s) declare that there are no financial or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its presentation. If any potential conflict exists, it must be fully disclosed at the time of submission.
10. Plagiarism Statement
The Scientific Committee maintains a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism and fabricated data. All abstracts must be the original work of the author(s). Any submission found to contain plagiarized content, unethical research, or copyright violations will be rejected without further consideration.
11. Travel
Abstract presenters are responsible for arranging and paying for their own registration, travel and hotel arrangements.
12. Final Submission Conditions
- Ensure all information is accurate before submission — edits are not permitted after submission.
